AWESOME PATRIOT (USA) - 2008 bay/brown horse

This Spendthrift Farm stallion is a nine-furlong stakes-winning full-brother to classic star Oxbow, who also has his first yearlings on offer now. He covered 59 mares in his first season, 104 in his second, and he stands for a fee of just $3,500.

He was a Grade 3-placed dual winner in California as a juvenile, and although he may have very few runners in Europe, if any, it will be no surprise to see him get stakes and graded winners in the USA.

In addition to being a full-brother to a classic star, he is out of an unraced full-sister to Tiznow (by Cee's Tizzy), US Horse of the Year, champion three-year-old, dual Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Classic hero and leading sire.

His grandam, Cee's Song (by Seattle Song), is also responsible for the prolific Grade 2 scorer Budroyale (by Cee's Tizzy), for Grade 2 Sorrento Stakes heroine Tizdubai (by Cee's Tizzy) and for Grade 2-placed stakes winner Tizbud (by Cee's Tizzy), and she is the grandam of classic-placed Grade 1 Haskell Invitational Stakes winner Paynter (by Awesome Again), who is another popular horse with his first yearlings in 2016.

Awesome Again's (by Deputy Minister) other stallion sons include Horse of the Year and notably successful sire Ghostzapper.
