A Grade 1-winning son of one of the USA's top stallions, Jimmy Creed (by Distorted Humor) stands at Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky and has been very popular with breeders, covering 141 mares in his first season and 147 in his second. Hookedonthefeelin was one of the best runners for the Dixieland Band (by Northern Dancer) stallion Citidancer, with the best of her seven wins coming in the Grade 1 La Brea Stakes and Grade 2 Landaluce Stakes. Her star daughter Pussycat Doll (by Real Quiet) won that same Grade 1 contest and also added the Grade 1 Humana Distaff Handicap and Grade 1 Santa Monica Handicap, and she has two others who have earned blacktype.
 
Prospective Joy (by Allen's Prospect), the grandam of Jimmy Creed, was a listed scorer and her descendants also include Midnight Lucky (by Midnight Lute). A grand-daughter of both Prospective Joy and of classic star Real Quiet (by Quiet American), she is closely related to Pussycat Doll, and won the Grade 1 Acorn Stakes over a mile at Belmont Park in 2013 and the seven-furlong Grade 1 Humana Distaff Stakes at Churchill Downs in 2014.

Seven-length winner of an extended mile maiden on one of two starts as a juvenile, Alternation won the Grade 2 Peter Pan Stakes over nine furlongs at three and then went on to win five of his seven starts at four, all of those wins coming in blacktype company. He was best from eight to nine furlongs, he is a son of classic sire Distorted Humor (by Forty Niner) and so represents a branch of the broad Mr Prospector (by Raise a Native) sire line.

He is the best of several winners out of Alternate (by Seattle Slew), a six-times scorer who won a trio of listed races and was placed in a string of graded events, including the runners-up spot in the Grade 2 Monmouth Breeders' Cup Oaks. He stands at Pin Oak Stud in Kentucky, alongside one of his relations, and he has been popular with breeders, covering 103 mares in his first season and 94 in his second.​

His siblings include the Grade 3 Florida Oaks third and dual listed scorer Interrupted (by Broken Vow), while his dam's immediate relations feature Grade 1 star and Canadian Horse of the Year Peaks And Valleys (by Mt Livermore). That horse enjoyed some success at stud and the ill-fated Grade 2-winning millionaire Dollar Bill was among his notable runners.

Strike A Balance (by Green Dancer), the grandam of Alternation, won twice, produced 10 winners from 17 foals, she is the grandam of the Grade 2 scorer Eleusis (by Diesis) and also of Grade 3 Tampa Bay Derby winner Equality (by Mt Livermore), who has enjoyed success at stud in Michigan. She was a half-sister to two stakes winners, one of whom became the ancestor of a string of notable performers.

That mare was Wedding Picture (by Blushing Groom), whose stakes-winning progeny included the somewhat successful US sire Service Stripe (by Deputy Minister) and Grade 1-placed Grade 3 scorer Winged Victory (by Nijinsky), who won the Listed July Stakes and was runner-up in the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes before crossing the Atlantic. He got winners in Chile.

Also of note is Wedding Picture's one-time winning daughter Wedding Vow (by Nijinsky) as the better of her two prolific stakes winners is the Grade 2 Philip H Iselin Handicap scorer and successful Pin Oak Stud stallion Broken Vow (by Unbridled). His top progeny include the Grade 1 stars Cotton Blossom, Rosalind, Sassy Image and Unbridled Belle.
