RED DUBAWI (IRE) - 2008 chestnut horse

A talented performer from six to 10 furlongs and Group 1 winner in Italy at a mile, Red Dubawi (by Dubawi) is by the sire of successful stallions Makfi and Poet’s Voice, he is out of Group 3-placed middle-distance stakes winner Maredsous (by Homme De Loi), and comes from a rather less distinguished family than do most by his sire.

His grandam, Tutti (by Rahotep), won seven times from two to five years of age and she is also responsible for Fontaine Guerard (by Homme De Loi), a stakes-placed dual winner who has produced pattern-placed stakes winner Fontcia (by Enrique) and the listed hurdles scorer Font Froide (by Trempolino).

Red Dubawi was bred by Haras Des Sablonnets, where he spent his first two seasons, he stood at Haras de la Croix Sonnet in 2018, and there were 41 foals in his first crop, six of whom are AQPS (autre que pur sang).
