Liaison a Grade 1 winner by the sire of Uncle Mo

LIAISON (USA) - 2009 bay horse

A Grade 1-winning juvenile by the sire of US stallion sensation Uncle Mo, Liaison is a very popular member of the team at Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky. He covered 115 mares in his first season, 141 in his second, and his early sales yearlings included a $100,000 filly sold at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky in July.

He is a half-brother to a six-figured earner and he is out of Galloping Gal (by Victory Gallop), a dual stakes winner who was runner-up in the Grade 2 Alcibiades Stakes. She is a half-sister to a Grade 3-placed multiple winner and her dam, the unraced Indy Flash (by A.P. Indy), is a half-sister to the Grade 3 Equipoise Mile Handicap scorer Bright Again (by Wild Again).
 
There are various other blacktype horses in the family, including a branch that leads to the Grade 1-winning sprinter PT's Grey Eagle (by Pleasant Tap), and his grandam (the fourth dam of Liaison) was a half-sister to the graded winners and somewhat successful stallions Raise A Cup (by Raise a Native) and Lucky So N So (by Alydar).
