Group 2 winner Fulbright a son of Exceed And Excel

FULBRIGHT (GB) - 2009 bay horse

Fulbright (by Exceed And Excel) is by the sire of Group 1-siring stallions Excelebration and Helmet, he was a six-furlong stakes winner at two, won the Group 2 Challenge Stakes over seven furlongs at Newmarket at three, was Group 2-placed at a mile, and he is a Kildangan Stud resident who has 35 representatives in his first crop.

He is the best of nine winners out one-time scorer Lindfield Belle (by Fairy King) and those siblings include Group 3 Prix Eclipse winner Domingues (by Danetime) and Group 2-placed, dual stakes winning sprinter and blacktype sire Baltic King (by Danetime).

Their grandam, Tecmessa (by Home Guard), was an unraced full-sister to Group 3 Prix du Petit Couvert winner and Group 1 Prix Jacques le Marois third Manjam, and those are the highlights of the first four generations of the pedigree.

Fulbright looks likely to get winners at all ages, with candidates for some of the lucrative sprint, mile and 10-furlong handicaps among them, and potentially the occasional blacktype horse.
